Ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and ex-Stone Roses guitarist John Squire have teamed up for a collaborative album.
The as yet-untiled project is due out in the first half of next year with the first single, "Just Another Rainbow," due out January 5th. The album was produced by Greg Kurstin (Foo Fighters, Adele) and features Kurstin on bass and Joey Waronker (Beck) on drums.
This isn't the first time Gallagher and Squire have collaborated -- they co-wrote a song called "‘Love Me and Leave Me" for Squire's band The Seahorses. This album got its start after Squire joined Gallagher onstage at Knebworth in June 2022 to play on "Champagne Supernova." After that show Squire sent three songs to Gallagher, which lead to them writing together.
