Metallica will play a special show to pay tribute to the late Jonny and Marsha Zazula on November 6th in Hollywood, Florida.
The Zazulas ran Megaforce, Metallica's label in 1983 and 1984, and the band says, "With Marsha by his side, Jonny was a mentor, a manager, a label head and a father figure to us all -- we would not be where we are today without the two of them."
Metallica adds, "We’ll be cooking up a special setlist for you full of songs from our days with Jonny and Marsha at Megaforce. Our main touring partner from that time, Raven, will be joining us to add to the celebration and bring back the memories."
Proceeds from the gig will be split between two charities -- part will be donated to MusiCares in the Zazulas' name, and part will go to Feeding South Florida.
