About a week ago, a Steelers fan named Rusty sent a tweet to James Conner about his friend Rich, who has been diagnosed with a rare untreatable sarcoma.
It said, "I’m fulfilling a bucket list wish for him and coming your home game with the Browns next week. I bought field passes, wondering if you could see him and give some encouragement."
Conner replied: "Please let me meet him! Looking forward to it!"
Sunday before the Steelers vs. Browns game, that meeting took place at Heinz Field, and as you can see in the video/photos below, it was a truly incredible and emotional moment.
