Foo Fighters just gave fans another lead in single from “Your Favorite Toy”, with “Of All People”!
The HÜSKER DÜ, styled release is the latest off their upcoming "Your Favorite Toy", due out April 24, and has all the feel of the classic 80's alternative band's style. Foo Fighter's look to be tapping into their roots with this new album, that seems to be their announcement of truly coming back since the death of Taylor Hawkins.
The new Foo Fighters album is a month away and the band dropped "Caught In The Echo," that has all the feels of the post-hardcore punk that eventually led to the hard hitting grunge sound that they helped pioneer years ago.
The new Foo Fighters album "Your Favorite Toy," is out on April 24, and they already put out the title track, along with the album tracklist,
“‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album.” Dave Grohl said. “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
The new album will also feature the single “Asking for a Friend,” which they released last year ahead of their stadium tour. Your Favorite Toy is the band’s first album with their new drummer Ilan Rubin, who replaced Josh Freese, who was let go after the tour.
