Jessica Rine, Executive Director - United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley

Jessica Rine is a Wheeling native. In 2004, she graduated from West Liberty University with a BS in Communications after an internship with WJAC-TV and the Altoona Curve in Altoona, PA. Before joining the staff of United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley in 2017 as the associate director, she worked for WTRF-TV for 10 years as the Promotions Manger. Jessica became the executive director of the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley in April of 2018. She is an active member in communities of Brooke, Ohio, Marshall and Weztel Counties in West Virginia and Belmont County in Ohio. She specializes in identifying critical community needs as well as raising funding to address those needs. Jessica is a director and host of the WLU-TV program, EPIDEMIC, which focuses on drug addition, stigma and recovery in West Virginia and Ohio. Jessica is active Rotarian with the Rotary of St. Clairsville, an ambassador for the Wheeling Chamber of Commerce and the Wetzel County Chamber of Commerce, and is on the board of directors for the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and the St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce. Jessica is past president of OVConnect(a young professionals networking organization), and a board member for Regional Economic Development Partnerships. In 2013, Jessica was recognized as part of Generation Next: 40 Under 40. She is an avid bowler, an aspiring golfer and lives in Moundsville with her three children.
