The community is invited to come together for a day of fitness, food, and family-friendly fun at the annual Caleb Smail Human Kindness Project event on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Designed to celebrate the spirit of kindness and community connection, the full-day event features everything from a morning 5K race to an afternoon cornhole tournament, live music, and a diverse lineup of local food vendors. The day kicks off bright and early with the Human Kindness Project 5K Race. While the official race whistle blows at 9:00 AM, participants are encouraged to arrive by 7:00 AM to handle registration, warm up, and snag prime parking. Following the morning run, the competitive spirit moves to the lawns at 12:00 PM for a high-stakes Cornhole Tournament. Throughout the entire day, attendees can try their luck at a high-payout 50/50 raffle or browse a massive Chinese Auction packed with family-oriented prizes, high-quality gift baskets, and local experiences. Local favorite Brice Ritchea will provide the soundtrack for the day, performing a live musical set as attendees browse the grounds, play games, and eat.
A stellar lineup of regional food trucks will be on-site all afternoon to keep attendees fueled, including:
