The NRA Basic Pistol class meets training requirements for both Ohio and West Virginia concealed carry permits. Material covered includes, but is not limited to Firearms Safety, Handgun Knowledge, Ammunition Knowledge, Handgun Shooting Fundamentals, Handgun Maintenance, Ohio/West Virginia State Gun Laws, Written Exam, and Live-Fire Qualification.
Requirements for this class include a willingness to learn, note-taking gear, food & fluids (soft drinks & coffee are available on-site), eye & ear protection, semi-automatic handgun (loaners are available for a reasonable fee), and at least 100 rounds of ammunition for your handgun.
Cost & Registration is $100. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required upon registration. The remainder is due at the opening of the class.
