The Pittsburgh Penguins honored Mike Lange and his 45 years of broadcasting during a pregame ceremony tonight at PPG Paints Arena!
During the ceremony, Lange was presented with a jersey signed by the whole team and a framed picture featuring his famous Lange-isms. The 7th level of the arena was also officially named "The Mike Lange Media Level."
Lange also addressed the fans, and started off by saying, "Oh my, what a night! It IS a hockey night in Pittsburgh!" You can watch the video of the ceremony and Lange's full speech below. You can also watch it at NHL.com.
