Full List Of Recalled Dog Food

The J.M. Smucker Co. is recalling several varieties dog food that may contain traces of a drug used to euthanize animals.

Stay away from wet canned Gravy Train, Kibbles ‘N Bits, Skippy and Ol’ Roy.

The recalls come after WJLA-TV reported last week that 9 out of 15 cans of Gravy Train they tested (60 percent) tested positive for pentobarbital.

Smucker said in a statement that low levels of the drug do not pose a threat to pets. "However, the presence of this substance at any level is not acceptable to us and not up to our quality standards,” it added. The company also said it does not use meat from euthanized animals in its pet food and is now investigating how pentobarbital got into its supply chain.
